KINGSBURRY HOUSE; Priority to complete - installation of
wainscotting and molding in interior rooms.
EDISON HOUSE: Priority to complete - finish paint street
side of house by the end of the month.
MOGUL: Priority to complete - testing. of stay bolts on
engine.
The following motion was approved:. That the $2, OQO donated
by the Pla~~rifa Canyon Property Owners Association be released
for electrification at Heritage Junction Historic Parkr
The Restoration Committee will meet on Sunday, November 14,
199,3, from,, i-4 P. M.
Hf29 MOGUL :"J.oCOMOTIVR: .Norman Harris
Norman is working with Dixon Boiler Works toward the goal of
the hydrostatic boiler test to see if the boiler is' .sound. We
should make an effort to get some publicity on our progress to
get. more donations of help and material. We are aiming for
project testing by the 'end of the year.
FUNDRAISING: Dave Lyerla
TOURS: Margaret Seltzer
Our tour of the mines and mining area was a success. We
left at .8:30 A.M. and made five stops. We really enjoyed Boron
and Randsburg tungsten mine. We stopped at Yellow Aster Mine.
Canadian Co. uses high power explosives to blast the ruck, spread
the'rock on huge sheets of plastic and use cyanide to extract the
gold. 'Th,ey produce 's, 000 ounces of gold per month. .

Dave advised that we will have bell ringers for .our open
house at the Station.
Pam suggested that we could open some of the houses for this
. oc,casion .and have them staffed by memb.ers of bhe· Rose Society,
Genealogy Group, etc. Jeanne Evans suggested that ,these groups
could e.ach. decor.ate a ·house.for the holiday. · The Board of
Directors f~lt that the opening of the houses would cause too
muc~ ftaffic in the area.
