                 RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE MOUNTAINS RECREATION
                     AND CONSERVATION AUTHORITY CONFIRMING THE ACCEPTANCE OF
                  DONATION OF APPROXIMATELY 250 ACRES (APNS 3244-014-051, 052; 3247-
                      017-025, 029, 055, 058, 060, 078, 090, 092, 093, 094 AND 3247-018-034),
                        PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 96-52, IN THE MARPLE CANYON
                          TRIBUTARY OF THE SANTA CLARA RIVER, UNINCORPORATED
                                       CASTAIC AREA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY

               Resolved,  That  the  Governing  Board  of  the  Mountains  Recreation  and  Conservation
               Authority (MRCA) hereby:

                       1.     FINDS that the lands proposed for donation in APNs 3244-014-051, 052;
                              3247-017-025, 029, 055, 058, 060, 078, 090, 092, 093, 094; and 3247-018-
                              034 are ecologically significant;

                       2.     FINDS that the proposed action is categorically exempt from the provisions
                              of the California Environmental Quality Act;

                       3.     ADOPTS the staff report and recommendation dated January 9, 2019;


                       4.     AUTHORIZES the acceptance of approximately 250 acres (APNs 3244-014-
                              051, 052; 3247-017-025, 029, 055, 058, 060, 078, 090, 092, 093, 094; and
                              3247-018-034) for open space and wildlife habitat linkage purposes in the
                              Castaic area; and

                       5.     AUTHORIZES the Executive Officer or his designee to do any and all acts
                              necessary to carry out this resolution and any recommendations made by the
                              Governing Board.
