Santa Clarita Valley, California

Tataviam wooden bowl with basketry at the rim and on the bottom. Fabricated from a large oak gall, the bowl measures 9 x 9½ inches and was discovered in Agua Dulce. It was coated with asphaltum inside, indicating it may have been used to carry water. It was repaired several times during time of use. It is in a private collection.
