Blue eyed, blonde, 5 feet 5 inches, Miss Kathleen Burckert, 17 year old .
drama student of the Hart High School, senior class was crowned ''Queen
of the 1948 Old West Celebration" at a dance held at Cheeseborough's Barn,
Saugus, Calif., Friday night, June 25, 1948
Miss Burckert is a native daughter of California, born in Hollywood and
a resident of Newhall for 10 years. She is past cheer leader of the Junior
Class, incumbent Secretary of the "Letter Girls" and a member of the
'1ndianettes" honor society. Won her letters in volley and basket-ball and
excells in horsemanship.
