Echoes Echoing Back

am not born of the flesh but of the spirit.
read that the fountain of youth really works.
thought that I already thought that before.
delivered time to fat her time.
still can hear my shadow following behind me.
had green eggs and ham with the Cat in the Hat.
saw both the sun and the moon at my doorstep.
got wind blown in one ear and out the other.
chopped a living vegetable.
landed in the middle of everything.
have seen the light.
am reading my life being read over again.
have not been to Hell and back.
have seen yesterday come· again today.
have eaten my words.
have heard my echoes echoing back.
have traveled to the Seven Seas.
was in a time warp.
have wandered off into my deepest thoughts.
once started out normal, but the abnormal kicked in.
have seen a dry tear.
have helped the truth tell lies.
My epitaph will read . . .
I risked my life saving Superman's butt.
