1958: Bakersfield Californian photo of Bob Addington, onetime wrangler on the Tejon Ranch. Addington discovered outlaw Tiburcio Vasquez's spurs in the 1930s while cowboying on the ranch.

Original caption reads:

GIFTED ARTISAN — Bob Addington, who was born in Cummings Valley [Kern Co., Calif.] and who was a cowboy of the authentic Old West, shows some of his braided rawhide leather work. He is holding the braided hobbles hor a horse and the reins are on the table. — Californian photo.
