Marlene Ann O'Shea


Marlene Ann O'Shea passed from this world on Monday September 17, 2018.

As a resident of Valencia since 1968 she witnessed the growth of the community that became Santa Clarita. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and was married to Jack O'Shea for over 59 years. Her spiritual center was her church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, the name of which describes her energy: She always wanted to be of help to those in need.

Her sons, daughter and sisters and their families mourn her passing but will keep her spirit of charity and love alive. Her memory will live on in her family including her grandsons and great grandchildren.

 

The Mass of Christian Burial

Monday October 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Santa Clarita, CA 91321

 

A celebration of her life will follow mass in the Padre Serra room of the O.L.P.H. Pastoral Center.

Cemetery committal will be private.

Flowers may be sent to the church for delivery on October 1st before 10:00 a.m. or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society in her name: Society of St. Vincent De Paul, 23936 Avenida Cresenta, Valencia, CA 91355.
