Don Dickinson, a resident of Newhall, CA, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013 after a long illness. Don leaves his wife of 57 years, Sally and three children, Steven Dickinson, Randall Dickinson and Kathryn Odom. Don and Sally had 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Don was the founder of The Family Outreach Program, a program offering wide range of services to families who had a family member being held in LA County Jails.

Additionally, Don had been a Chaplain for The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department., a position where he was named Volunteer Of The Year in 2005.

He was an L.A. County Fireman for 25 years, the latter part of that time as the leader of a mountain fire crew.

He was a United States Marine from 1953 to 1955.

Anyone who knew Don well understood the main goal in his life was to lead others to Christ. He viewed any meeting as an opportunity to share his deep personal faith in our Lord.
