Jennifer Dianne (Quick) Branson

Hart High Class of 1968; Bermite Powder Co., General Motors

Jennifer Dianne (Quick) Branson, 69, of Salem, Ohio, died at her home early Wednesday morning, March 18, 2020.

Jennifer was born November 23, 1950. The Quick family moved to Newhall from Whittier, Calif., in 1967. We knew her as Jenny when she began attending Hart High School as a junior, and she is a Hart Class of 1968 alumna. She and Randy Lankford married early on and share a son, Jason.

Like many in the Santa Clarita Valley, she worked at Bermite for a while and then hired on with General Motors in the San Fernando Valley where she met the love of her life, Rick King. Together they moved to Salem, Ohio, transferring to General Motors plant there, where she retired after 30-plus years.

She is survived by her mother, Louise Quick, 90; her son Jason, three grandchildren; sister Peggy Halloway, and three brothers: Nathan Quick, Chet Quick and Richie Quick.

Arrangements are pending at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem, Ohio.
