Looking westward from the Ranch Line towards the Pacific Ocean forty miles away whither the mad waters of the deluge rushed on leaving death and destruction in their wake. Camulos, the home of "Ramona" which was spared by a distance of only seven rows of orange trees can be seen at the right-hand side of the picture.
