Apricot Picking at Hitch Ranch
San Joaquin Valley

[MIKE CORRALEJO INDEX]

First three children, from left: Sophia Corralejo, Reyes Corralejo, Miguel "Mike" Corralejo (with hat), c. 1925, on the Hitch Ranch where they picked apricots. This is during the time the Corralejo family — Motes, Theodosia and their nine children — was traveling to Fresno over Ridge Route to harvest the crops. Hitch Ranch could be counted on to pay well, according to Mike.
