Brownie Playday patch, William S. Hart Ranch (Hart Park), May 20, 1967. Diameter 3¼ inches; brown lettering on white fabric.

Brownie Playday was an annual event for the youngest members of the Girl Scouts of the USA organization.

Patch donated 2021 to the SCV Historical Society by Sue Wright of Vancouver, Wash. Her late father (d.2013), Larry Wright, was a longtime resident of Reseda, Calif., and had many friends in the Santa Clarita Valley. An avid auto racing enthusiast, he moved his family to Reseda in the 1950s and was a member (and master judge) of the National Corvette Restorers Society.
