                VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION EVENT - Rescheduled to September 29, 1997 at 5 p.m.
                Board members are asked to bring a salad or side dish.  Award nominations are to be given to
                Laurene Weste.


                NE\V BUSINESS - Calendar of Events:

                September 14  Train ride in Fillmore
                September 28-29  Harts of the West and Volunteer Recognition
                October 6  Valencia Portrait and Picnic Party at Northbridge Park
                October 11  - l3  Volunteer Faire at Business Expo- Cynthia Neal-Harris moved that $50 be paid
                to Chamber to participate at Expo.  Glen Rollins seconded.  MOTION PASSED.


                RESTORATION COMMITTEE REPORT - Report from Pam Helvey was submitted. C-
                attached.
                Paul Kreutzer reported on Pardee House - it needs air conditioning and 3 1/2 new sashes for
                windows.  Tom Frew moved that $550 be spent to buy three and a half sashes for Pardee House.
                Phil Scorza seconded.  MOTION PASSED.
                Sprinkler problem needs to be addressed.  Paul felt at least two board members need to be aware
                of exact location of main valves for sprinklers.  Board members asked Paul to make a map
                showing location of main valves.  Torn Frew volunteered to make map and post near keys in
                station.
                Paul Kreutzer requested the following assistance from board members:
                 l.  Space heater - needs info on how to fix it or if it's even worth it.
                2.  Recycle telephone books - Tom Frew volunteered
                3.  Need a stove in the Newhall Ranch house to be removed.  Pat Salatore volunteered.
                4.  Need to inquire about wiring left from AT&T and Pac Bell.  Anne Kaulbach volunteered.
                5.  Paul needs 426 cinder blocks.  Cynthia Neal-Harris volunteered to ask Eagle Scouts.
                Carol Rock asked Paul to bring any and al] needs to future board meetings as well as listing
                them with his Executive Director's Report in the month Dispatch.


                AMERICAN MOVIE CLASSIC - Continental Cable Vision has rented station for a public
                party to mark the addition of the American Movie Classics to the line up.  Phil Scorza has
                volunteered to chair event (Harvest Moon Dance) at station with the cable company.  Patti
                Rasmussen volunteered to assist Phil.  Has been scheduled for October 25,  l 997.
