S.C.V.H.S. Board Meeting

              study the Library project.  John Drew, Sandy Forbes, Donna Jones and Pam Helvey volunteered
              to meet with Eleanor and make a report to the Board in April.

              JEAN EVANS_;_


              Jean Evans came in person to inform the Board of Directors that she is resigning.  She will be
              moving out of this area.


              NEW  BOARD MEMBER:                  Kevin Rasch


              Kevin Rasch is a new member of the Board of Directors.  He states he is looking forward to
              working in the Historical Society.  Kevin is a former member of the ""Fort Dodge Group", whose
              motto was, "If you're not having fun, you're not doing anything at all."  Cooking chili is one of his
              specialities.


              "TRASH TO TREASURES":               Betty Evans

              Betty Evans reported that the rummage and bake sale held on March 19th netted $464.
   0          VOLUNTEER DINNER:                   Sandy Forbes



              The new date is May 11th.  The dinner will be held at the Saugus Train Station.  The time will be
              6 p.m.  There will be an article in the April and May issue of the Dispatch.

              RESTORATION COMMITTEE:  Pam Helvey


              A discussion concerning the positioning of the Mogul Sign resulted in Dave Lyerla making the
              following motion:

              M/S/P          Place the Mogul Restoration Sign in an appropriate place near the engine.
              Warren Johnson seconded the motion.  Motion passed.


              The Restoration Committee met on Sunday March 13, 1994.  The following initial plans for repair
              of earthquake damage and for the new year were discussed:


                      I.     SITE DEVELOPMENT:  Priority to complete - All trenching for electrical lines
                             in Feed Trough Area; Inspection of electrical distribution box; Purchase of
                             electrical wire; Planting of four (4) trees on site; Permission to trim dead oak tree
                             hazard; and contact with Fire Department Camp Brush Clearing Crew for on site

                             PARDEE HOUSE.:.  Priority to complete - Close up exposed exterior siding.
